Sara, our co-founder, drives from Marrakesh to the Atlas Mountains, where she visits various Berber village communities.

During these visits, Sara carefully selects the most beautiful, one-of-a-kind rugs, ensuring she supports different communities by sourcing rugs from multiple villages, strengthening relationships with the artisans.

Max, our co-founder, who travels full-time, participates virtually during these trips, helping Sara select the rugs and build connections with the women in the villages.

Finding the perfect rugs is like a treasure hunt, as Sara searches for the most unique and special pieces.

She handpicks each rug based on quality, beauty, and craftsmanship to ensure it’s the best for your home.

3. Building Relationships with the Artisans

Sara and Max take the time to meet the artisans, learning about their craft and stories.

These relationships help support the artisans’ communities and create a fair, transparent process.

4. Fair Trade Upfront – Supporting the Women

We pay the artisans fairly upfront, compensating them immediately for their hard work and talent.

This direct payment ensures the artisans receive what they deserve right from the start, making a positive impact on their lives and communities.

5. Sourcing from Multiple Villages

Sara ensures to support a range of communities by sourcing rugs from different villages across the Atlas Mountains.

By doing so, we promote fair opportunities and help uplift many Berber communities.

6. Bringing the Rugs Back to Marrakesh

After selecting the best rugs, Sara personally drives the rugs back to Marrakesh from the various communities.

The rugs are carefully transported and stored at our family-owned property in Marrakesh, where they are treated with respect and care.

7. Storing the Rugs with Love

The rugs are stored at our Marrakesh property, where they are inspected for quality and handled with care.

We ensure that the rugs remain in excellent condition until they are ready for shipment.

8. Sending You a Piece of Morocco

Once the rugs are ready, we ship them directly from Marrakesh to your home, bringing a genuine piece of Morocco into your space.
